An ATV and an assortment of weapons were reported stolen early Saturday morning from a garage on Carlisle Avenue.
police around 1:30 a.m. were dispatched to the 1300 block of Carlisle Avenue on the report of a breaking and entering incident. Upon arrival, officers were told the victim was taking out his garbage when he noticed the overhead door on his garage was open.
The victim immediately noticed an ATV and three guns were stolen, according to a police report obtained Saturday. The overhead door was reportedly pried open.
The ATV was a Honda TRX 350. The stolen weapons included a Bersa handgun, semi-automatic assault rifle and 12-gauge shotgun.

The first drunk driving checkpoint and patrols in Kettering in more than a decade resulted in eight arrests and dozens of citations Friday night.
Kettering, Miami Township and Dayton police officers and the Montgomery County OVI Task Force operated the checkpoint in the 3700 block of Wilmington Pike and patrolled nearby side streets from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Saturday. Officers made 4 OVI arrests and 4 arrests for drug offenses, the Kettering Police Department said. The check point and additional patrols also resulted in 8 driving under suspension or without valid license charges, 9 seatbelt citations, 3 child safety seat violations, 3 open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle citations and 44 other traffic citations.
1,105 vehicles were stopped during the patrol.

Two adults and 4 young children were taken to area hospitals after two vehicles were involved in a major crash Saturday afternoon.
A car and pickup truck crashed head-on near the intersection of Frederick and Peters pikes at about 1 p.m. Witnesses told police that the pickup truck veered left of center and smashed into the car.
The car's driver was removed with life-threatening injuries, the Butler Township Police Department said. The four children inside the car were hurt, but none were critically injured. The truck driver was also injured and is expected to survive.
Mutual aid from the Vandalia, Englewood, Union, Harrison Township and Clayton fire departments assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, and no one has been charged or issued citations at this point.
